The Air Force cares about physical fitness. The Air Force loves tests. So it should be no surprise that the Air Force places huge emphasis upon your calculated score in the official PT Test/Fitness Assessment. The formal Fitness Assessment (commonly called the PT Test) assesses your ability to perform pushups, situps, a 1.5 mile run, and also measures your abdominal circumference. Your performance will be recorded and used to calculate your official PT Test score.
